Schaeffler in Thailand

Schaeffler Thailand started out in 2000 as Sales office in Saraburi, Bangkok serving customers in the Cement and Mining Sectors. In 2016, Schaeffler Manufacturing Thailand (SMT) moved to a new location at Chonburi. It was then inaugurated as Schaeffler Manufacturing Thailand, Chonburi, as a regional manufacturing hub for a range of industrial and automotive products. This includes clutch discs and clutch pressure plates, mechanical and hydraulic belt tensioners, synchronizer rings and clutch release systems. Driven by 300 employees, Schaeffler Thailand has achieved the Supplier Quality Excellence Award in the last years.

SMT is fully committed to the Kingdom of Thailand to play an active role in supporting economic development, innovation, sustainability; thereby improve the lives of Thai people. In this endeavor, we closely collaborate with institutes of higher learning and research-bodies to expand our work on research, development and innovations that closely aligned to the requirements of the global market.
