Marc Stager ( Product Management Automotive Aftermarket Asia Pacific)​

I joined Schaeffler as an apprentice in 2003 to continue the family tradition. My grandfather was one of the first Schaeffler employees in the 1950s, followed by my father and other family members working for Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach. After spending a few years working in Axial Needle Roller Bearing Production, I continued my journey with MOVE.

I spent three years conducting workshops and training in various departments worldwide. In 2014 I got the opportunity to work in China as my first manager role leading an IE department. Since then, I have stayed in Asia, which enabled me to increase my intercultural competencies further. Throughout my career with Schaeffler, I have always been blessed with leaders who trusted in my capabilities, gave me opportunities to grow, and provided me with outstanding coaching to develop myself. This is how I made it from Apprentice to AAM AP Director.

Michal Rehak​ (​Industrial Engineering Asia Pacific)

In late 2018, I got the opportunity to work in Schaeffler Thailand as a mentor for the employees on the shop floor, where subsequently, I was given the position of team leader. With the strong support of my colleagues and the help of the Move Tools program, I was able to improve and hit my daily performance goals. Not to mention, Schaeffler creates an excellent environment for anybody to work in and imparts indispensable knowledge to its employees.

Mark Brian Pirie​ (Supplier Management Asia Pacific)

I joined Schaeffler in January 2019 as the AP Head of Supplier Quality & Supplier Development. I joined Schaeffler because of their enthusiasm for new technologies, specifically E-Mobility, and their strong commitment to sustainability. As a parent, sustainability is a topic that resonates strongly with me. Therefore, the commitment to positively impacting and providing a safer and better future for families has become one of my main focuses.

In November 2019, I was privileged to be promoted and I now Head the AP Supplier Management Team with additional scopes in E-Mobility, Sustainability, Supplier Integration & Logistics, Cost Value Analysis, and SPS@Suppliers. To be successful, we need to invest in our local talents, support them, and commit ourselves passionately. This is something that I am very committed to doing by empowering or local talent to be the “Leaders of Our Future”. While we face many challenges in this complex environment, we can achieve incredible successes as long as we stick together with Trust, Transparency, and Teamwork.

My journey in Schaeffler started back in 2007 in Brazil as a Product Designer for the Automotive Business. I’ve always had strong support from the company to upgrade myself and grow my professional career through regular training in Brazil and at the headquarters in Germany. In 2016, I was given the opportunity to move to Schaeffler Thailand, and join the Aftermarket Asia Pacific team – which provided a new and exciting challenge to develop and grow the business in the region. The experience of working in a diverse environment and interacting with people from different countries, cultures, languages, and backgrounds has broadened my perception of approaching challenges. What amazed me throughout the past 14 years is how Schaeffler, despite its colossal size, maintains a warm and family-like environment in all its locations worldwide.
